I have had a great summer, full of vacation fun in the sun and lots of eating. I eat healthy. I've done it for so long now that unhealthy food just doesn't taste good to me. However, I've eaten out more than normal and indulged enough to cause my body to feel sluggish, retain some water and I'm craving things I normally don't crave. I need to get back on track and quick.
I was thinking the other day, planning really. I thought about my health and fitness goals for this year and how I want to end the year and start 2015. It dawned on my that the month of September is a window of opportunity. Come October, the parties start, along with holiday busy-ness. It's the season that we over indulge in a big way.
The plan. I want to enjoy the holidays; look and feel my best. I don't want to continue with my cravings and put off my health and fitness goals until the holidays are over. That would be a mess and make it really hard to get where I want to go in January. Are you following me? Most people gain 5-10 pounds during the holidays. Add that to weight gained in the summer and you have a much bigger mountain to climb. To top it off, you feel really bad about yourself and fully regret falling off the wagon. The fun you had living it up has now turned into regret, leaving you feeling depressed. Yuk! Who wants that? Not me! Anyway, back to the plan. I'm taking advantage of September. I'm starting it off with a 3 Day Refresh and 7 days of clean eating. I thought rather than do it by myself, I would invite 5-10 people to join me. There's power in numbers and I want to teach you how to live healthy and happy.
