3 Tips to Jump Start Your Day

How we start our day is how we live our day. When we start our day in a healthy positive way, we'll end our day that way. Ever notice on the days you wake up with negative thoughts, drag yourself out of bed, pound a bunch of coffee while entertaining the negativity in your mind, skip breakfast because you're late or make a poor choice; You have a sluggish gloomy day? What you entertain and allow will set the stage. It's important to end the day with thanksgiving and anticipation of good things, but we'll save that for another day.

Here's 3 simple tips that will give you a powerful start to a healthy happy day. I'm almost positive you'll get more accomplished too.

Tip 1- Fill a 32 ounce mason jar with purified water and take it to bed with you. Try adding lemon . Lemon is great for maintaining a healthy liver. First thing, before getting out of bed, drink the water. Our bodies go through a detox process while we sleep which can dehydrate us a bit. By drinking this water, you're helping to flush things through and jump-start your organs. You'll be amazed at well this wakes you up. If you find it difficult to drink this much water, start with 16 ounces the first week, then bump up to 25, the second week, then bump to the full 32.

Tip 2- Think about 3 things you're grateful for, things you love about yourself, and what's going good in your life. This charges your mind and fills your heart with joy. You'll also notice that you will begin to anticipate and invite good things in your life. This also causes faith to rise. Conquer depression and anxiety.  How about getting focused on making healthy choices throughout the day? It all starts when we wake up.

Tip3- Eat a healthy nutrient  dense breakfast within an hour after waking. Remember, you've fasted for at least 8 hours and your body needs nourishment. Skipping breakfast causes weight gain and puts your body into survival mode. I like to make a smoothie. It's fast, easy and if I'm in a hurry, I can take it with me. Make sure to use quality ingredients and whole food supplements when creating your smoothie.

I encourage you to give these tips a try for at least 3 weeks. It takes 3 weeks to break a habit and 3 to create a new one. I know you'll feel great.

You're Worth It!

With Love,
